Your path to your driving licence

- 1First-aid course (Nothelferkurs)
10 hours, mandatory for your learner's permit (Lernfahrausweis). Take it with us in Thalwil or Windisch.
- 2Theory test
At the road traffic office. After that, you get your learner's permit (Lernfahrausweis).
- 3Driving lessons
With your driving instructor, meeting at the train station or with pick-up service.
- 4Traffic course (VKU)
8 lessons of traffic course (VKU), ideally alongside your driving lessons.
- 5Driving test
In the area where you practiced. 95 % pass on the first attempt with us.
Ab 2027: neue Reihenfolge
Gesuch → FABER-Nummer → Nothelferkurs, Sehtest und VKU → Basistheorieprüfung (55 Fragen, max. 17 Fehlerpunkte, inkl. VKU-Themen) → Lernfahrausweis → Fahrstunden → Prüfung. Für den VKU brauchst du deine FABER-Nummer – die bekommst du mit dem Gesuch.
Hast du dein Gesuch noch 2026 eingereicht, gilt für dich die bisherige Reihenfolge oben.

What most people ask us.
How do I start driving training?
First, you attend the first aid course and pass the theory test – after that, you receive your learner driver's permit and can start your driving lessons. The easiest way to start is with a free trial lesson.
Which categories do you train for?
We train you for car (Cat. B), trailer (Cat. BE), and motorcycle (Cat. A/A1) and offer the mandatory first aid course, traffic awareness course (VKU), and the motorcycle basic course.
Is the first driving lesson really free?
Yes. For new Category B students, the trial lesson is free and without obligation – allowing you to get to know us and your driving instructor at your leisure.
Where do the driving lessons take place?
In Zurich, Thalwil and surroundings, as well as in the Aargau, Zug, and Schwyz regions (depending on availability). You can discuss meeting points and pick-up service directly with your driving instructor.
Can I take driving lessons in English?
Yes, we teach in German and English – ideal for expats and international students.
How do I register?
